Gerri Vereen

Gerri is Senior Partner and VP Strategic Operations. She is a goal-oriented Executive and Team Coach, and brings over fifteen years experience in managing diverse and cross-functional teams within the areas of Internet Advertising, Operations and Technologies. Gerri contributed significant expertise in building the largest and most profitable automotive site on the internet.

There she helped the organization thrive on change and learn how to capitalize on it, while developing for herself many deep and far reaching relationships across the industry that continue to benefit HCI clients today. She derives great personal satisfaction when coaching others who are facing challenges or major changes. With her management and coaching skills, she ably assists individuals and teams in developing action plans that align with their business goals. She received her International Coaching Federation accreditation through SECA (Strategic Executive Coaching Alliance), a global coaching institute located in Washington DC, and is the VP of Operations for the Georgia Coaches Association, 2010 Board.

Gerri is no stranger to complex intersections whether it's sales and operations, business and technology, old and new media, or teams across functions. Most recently, she spent 10 years working in various roles with AutoTrader.com, a majority-owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises with investment funding from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Along with building three operational teams in support of the National and Regional sales departments, she also served as the lead project sponsor for AutoTrader.com’s STAR leadership program (Showing True Achievement and Results), providing project management development and training for emerging corporate leaders.

Prior to joining AutoTrader.com, she was a senior project manager with a training company that provided leading-edge multimedia technologies for Fortune 100 companies, including BellSouth, Nortel, Deloitte & Touche, Prudential Securities and Qwest. During her tenure as the Senior Affinity Program Manager at MCI, prior to its purchase by Worldcom, she launched MCI’s first affinity program designed for women business organizations providing business owners with consolidated purchasing power.

As a coach for business leaders, Gerri offers the benefit of her 20 plus years of work experience within the corporate world and works with clients interested in identifying and developing their natural talents and strengths, those qualities that help them stand out. A big believer in emphasizing the positive aspects of your personality, Gerri is certified in the Birkman Method® and values and recommends the Birkman as an assessment tool that identifies a person’s managerial style and organizational orientation.

Gerri is a Florida native and a University of Florida Alumna. She has lived in Atlanta since 1990 and recently completed renovations on a 1948 bungalow located in the Brookhaven area.
